On April 17th, 18th and 19th, were held the trainings with the business community organized by the Institute of Public and Private Policies in cooperation with GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) on the benefits of obtaining the status of the Authorized Economic Operator.
The purpose of these trainings is to provide information and raising awareness of business community and entrepreneurs in the field of import-export, international transport or even customs agents on the existence and benefits of obtaining the status of "Authorized Economic Operator". These trainings aimed at raising awareness and encouraging businesses to apply for AEO status.
Participants in these trainings were defined on the basis of "Preliminary Assessment of Business Capacities for Obtaining the Status of an Authorized Economic Operator" study in terms of the benefit of this status, which categorizes businesses in the three groups, respectively:
I. The group of businesses that are far from standards for obtaining the status of OEA,
II. The group of consolidated businesses that have the potential to acquire OEA status, and
III. The group of businesses that already have local customs clearance status and other high-standard businesses.
