The fifth meeting of the National Committee for Trade Facilitation was held on October 19th, 2018. At the centre of the discussion was the presentation of the issues raised during the previous meeting of NTFC, as well as information on the updated study “Fees and payments inventory applicable to Albanian imports and exports”.
The meeting started with the introductory speech of Mrs. Albana Shkurta, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, who made a short presentation of the agenda and what would be discussed during the meeting.
In her following speech, Mrs. Albana Dhimitri mentioned that 2 or 3 of the raised issues will be considered by the working group or of the smaller technical groups, in order to undertake necessary actions, such as: decisions of the Council of Ministers, authorizations, etc., and to implement the work plan already in force.
After Mrs. Dhimitri, Ms. Majlinda Hafizi addressed each issue raised by the Chamber of Commerce.
