The Minister Mrs. Ekonomi: With the support of international partners we increase competitiveness and innovation

The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship organized the first meeting with Integrated Policy Management Group for Competitiveness and Innovation (IPMG C & I).

The meeting was chaired by the Minister Mrs. Milva Ekonomi, with the participation of the EU Ambassador in Albania, Romana Vlahutin, foreign donors, representatives of several institutions, ministries and national agencies. In her welcome speech, Mrs. Ekonomi emphasized the importance of the concept and Integrated Policy Management process in the Competition and Innovation Sector (IPMG C & I) as a capable structure to lead the development, implementation and monitoring of sectoral reforms in accordance with national development strategies, EU and international obligations.

"National Policy Management in the Competition and Innovation Sector (C & I) requires intensive consultations and political dialogue between Albanian authorities and international partners. It is therefore important to find integrated methods to make the country more competitive, especially the tourism sector, "said Minister Ekonomi.
